Casual Dining
Once a common bedroom, the new dining space features a long and handsome-looking wooden dining table with a matching bench. A bar counter created by the windows add an extra spot in the house to hang out with a drink.
Sleek Surfaces
Walls have been blanketed with the same wood-effect cladding, concealing even the bedroom and storeroom doors and bringing warmth to the space. The only breaks to this feature are the entrance to the kitchen and the built-in bookshelf.
Bespoke bookshelf
A custom bookshelf breaks the monotony of the seamless feature wall in the communal space. The unit is composed of powder coated steel shelves and dividers with tiles forming the back.
Spacious Hallway
To give the floors a cement screed look, stucco finishing was applied for a cement-textured effect. Bedroom doors on the left and right have been concealed with the same classing as the walls for a seamless look.
Open/Close Study
A small study nook was carved from the wall beside the entrance to the commons bedroom. The thoughtfully-designed space has everything one would need in a home office - ample lighting, power sockets, overhead shelves, and a fitted desk. It even has sliding doors to tuck it away when not in use.
